After a while you kind of get a feel for legitimacy, I trusted my instinct enough to have had some serious money on it (set as an auto-bid), to bad they didn't just let it run. The seller only knew the rarity and began to understand the value after it was listed and information was brought forward. A piece of this nature is worth the risk.

I know the buyer of this poster/handbill. He says now that he got it, he believes it to be the real thing. It appears to be that old. I do know that most of the serious collectors were communicating with the seller, as was I, trying to get any info that would help authenticate the piece. Unfortunately, he didn't provide any history or information that helped. That scared off pretty much everyone. The only reason I question it is because if I had it and wanted to sell, I would never let it go for $5,000. Would you? He certainly knew of the big prices in the past few years and the rarity of the piece. For the buyer's sake, I hope it's the real thing.
